What is the Sociedad Magic Penny Patagonia?
 Magic Penny Patagonia is a network of persons of all ages, living, working, or simply interested in Patagonia; children, parents, teachers and visitors alike, who:

are interested in learning more of the beauty of science and its role in the community, and in the natural world

believe strongly in the value of:

hands-on experiment, using traditional materials, tools, and objects,

personal contact, locally and internationally,

the latest methods of electronic communication but who are also sensitive to its possible dangers.
Magic Penny Patagonia was established in 1999 with the help of the Magic Penny Trust and the support of Ciencias y Artes Patagonia (CAPat) and the National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco.
